About Colorado Shears

Colorado Shears is owned and operated by Amy House (that's me), a gal that is completely dedicated to the art and science of shear sharpening. For many years I was a licensed and practicing cosmetologist, which helps me know exactly what you need! I enjoyed it and although I have moved on from that career, I still cater to my family and friend's hair care needs. I needed my shears sharpened, but was unable to find a reputable and trustworthy sharpener to trust with my very expensive shears. That's when I decided to take the greatest leap in my career and decided to get trained (by one of the best), and start up Colorado Shears. I so enjoy engaging with all stylists, barbers, groomers, nail techs and upholsters in their work environments, and restoring their tools with patience, precise execution, and attention to detail. I thoroughly love what I do, and would be happy to satisfy any of your sharpening needs!
